And half of the PS2 market was 12 year olds... whats your point. Halo1 is a good game and so where Halo's 2 and 3, although not as good as the first in my opinion. And in response to the GT thing above... im pretty sure more people would buy a Halo4 than a new Gt at this point. Lets compare Prologues sales to ODST when its released as there both really add ons not full games and see which sells the most. Im sure we already know the answer.
True but others have said its a bit samey and COD style. If it is like COD then it will be a rent not a buy for me. Waiting for the reviews but i am hoping its going to be good.
So Mass Effect2, Forza3, Alan Wake and Halo ODST won't be great games?
Alan Wake could go either way but the rest are proven and will be great no doubt.

of course not its just another game that will sell what 5 million copies if the PS3 fans actually buy it for a change.
Halo ODST will probably sell more and thats a add on. Im looking forward to Killzone and ODST might not be nowhere near as good but sales wise M.Soft has it made wher...
Theres a COD every year, 6 Gran Turismo releases, more Final Fantasies than you can throw a stick at and 3 Halo games in 7 years. I wouldn't say its been over done... yet.
Saying that im not sure Halo wars is a good idea. Looking forward to ODST though.
Killzone wishes it could be Halo. Rather than opting for its muti-way game play though has gone for straight forward COD style gameplay which im most dissapointed about.
Halo 1 is still my favorite fps.
Well theres been more GT games, 4 and two more prologues. You can guarantee eventually Halo will beat that figure especially as Gt is now a pale version of its former self having been eclisped by Forza.
Im looking forward to it but everyone is talking about the graphics but no one is mentioning the gameplay. The graphics will wear off if the game isnt great to play. Im hoping its not going to be a check point run like COD. All looks with nothing going on underneath. Im hoping.

does it allow for mutiple ways to achive objectives like Halo or is it a one way check point affair like COD.

I recently played Halo1 and it is miles better ( although obviously not graphically) than COD.
I wasn't so struck on Halo2 and 3 but the first one is a masterpiece.
I recently re-played the original Halo and its still the best one. Graphics aside its still the best fps made in my opinion. Not so struck on 2 and 3 though.
Yeah i very much doubt its coming to PS3. And belive it orr not there are some EA games which arn't muti format.
Mass Effect2 is one of my most wanted games. The first was fantastic. You can keep your Final Fantasy this is miles ahead. Best rpg yet.

I can't belive people are saying this is a flop. true it hasn't yet got the figures some fanboys were posting before release but it has sold very well.
anything over a million copies is a hit and the sales were keep on growing over the next couple of years.
I think you will find its FORMAT not FOTMAT. Yes there making money off blue ray but they have to share that with all the other companies who have a slice in it. Sony ARE making money, just not on the PS3. im sure it will turn around for them end of 09 and definatly 2010.
I played the demo. Its crap.
I agree with the bad product. I like the 360 but the build quality is complete pants, especially compared to the Ps3.
